The breakfast selection was good but could definitely
Be more varied. I appreciated the free hot breakfast buffet, and the food quality was decent. On the downside, the morning rush caused us to skip it. The large parking spaces were a plus for convenience.

We would stay there again, thank you very much. It's a well-appointed and recently refurbished hotel in the functional building. The staff are absolutely courteous and very friendly, no complaints whatsoever. The breakfast with juice and sausage and potatoes is good hot and free for what is offered.

Recently refurbished hotel in a handy position easy to get to on highway. Also - just off Newfoundland's west coast and the Avalon Peninsula, Gander for a medical emergency, and a wonderful spot downtown. A good choice of goodies for breakfast.

Location
Hotel in need of major upgrade. Mattresses are worn out, too soft, and extremely uncomfortable. Enamel in sinks is cracked.Curtains cover window air conditioner, so the choice is air with daylight.in early mornings. Or no air and closed curtains. Never-Again at any price.

And the beds were comfortable after a long journey. Plus, the hot breakfast buffet offered was a good surprise.
What we didn't appreciate was the slow drainage in the shower, made for an uncomfortable experience while bathing.
